Halfway through April, already!? It was a busy week for Montecito real estate with 6 closed sales, 8 new pending sales and 5 new listings! So far this month there have been 12 closed sales, the highest being the off market sale of 700 Picacho Lane at $52M. At this point in April last year there had been 20 closed sales, 40% more than this year. Although interest rates seem to be on an upward trend and inventory is more sparse than usual, this does not seem to be deterring buyers as they search for their dream home in Montecito.
