The great wealth transfer is well underway and over the next 20 years about $84 trillion (TRILLION!) will be transferred from Baby Boomers (that’s me) to Get X and Millennials. We see this playing out across the US and definitely in Santa Barbara and Montecito where parents and grandparents are helping their children move here to take advantage of the incomparable quality of life for raising their families and to be closer to each other.
