If we go out without the lipstick (sorry, guys), we’re still well dressed and ready to go. But the impact isn’t quite the same.
Staging is the lipstick.
It gives the bricks and mortar personality and shows the art of living at home — where everyone gathers, where you have dinner, and where you curl up with a book.
It also does something else I think is really important: it slows you down.
Instead of simply walking through rooms, you start picturing your life in them. That’s why we stage. Because when a home is shown at its best, its value becomes easier to see.

New in the Neighborhood | Ancora Osteria
There’s a new reason to make dinner plans in the Upper Village. Ancora Osteria has opened in the former Via Vai space, from the chefs behind S.Y. Kitchen. Think housemade pasta, Roman-style pinsa, local produce & plenty of good wine.
We’ve long loved S.Y. Kitchen, and we’re very happy to have its sister restaurant a little closer to home. We’ll see you there!
