Spring Awakens

April showers bring May flowers, and in Montecito, seven fresh listings. After a quiet start to the year, we’re finally feeling a hint of the Spring and Summer momentum we’re used to. The pace has picked up noticeably over the past two weeks and it feels like we are in for a busy few weeks even if the fog remains!

In May 2024, 11 homes closed in Montecito, less than half  of the 22 sales we saw in May 2023. Although we are only a few days into May, we have one closed sale (an off-market sale on Miramar Avenue for $6.81M) but we are counting 11 pending transactions and definitely expecting many more this month.

With over 94 homes on the market, buyers have choices and we’re seeing renewed interest across all price points.
