The Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort’s expansion project has taken a significant step forward. A couple weeks ago, the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors unanimously denied all appeals against the project, allowing it to proceed.
Led by resort owner Rick Caruso, the project will include 26 affordable housing units for the resort’s workforce, eight market-rate apartments, and 17,500 square feet of commercial space featuring boutique shops and a café. Notably, the affordable housing will be permanent, a rare and impactful commitment to the community.
On a festive note, my team and I recently enjoyed a holiday spa day at the Rosewood Miramar. From the moment we arrived, the Rosewood’s holiday decorations and warm ambiance set the tone for a day of relaxation and joy. The spa treatments were incredible, leaving us refreshed and ready to embrace the season. It was a perfect reminder of why the Rosewood Miramar is such a special place, not just for visitors but for our local community as well.
