Closed sales doubled last week and there were a few sales that caught our eye. The largest sale was 1395 Oak Creek Canyon Road, which closed for $18M after nearly one year of being on the market – 84% of its original asking price. Then there was 1520 Lingate Lane which came on the market on February 8th for $4,950,000. It was another very quick escrow, going under contract on the 14th and closing on the 18th for $300k over asking price ($5,250,000). Lastly, a Montecito Del Mar townhouse near Butterfly Beach and Lower Village sold for a whopping $625k over asking price ($2,875,000) after only 8 days on the market.
